beIN MEDIA GROUP (“beIN”), the leading global sports and entertainment broadcaster, has announced a diverse lineup of programming to enjoy this Ramadan for its subscribers across the Middle East & North Africa (MENA). beIN’s specially curated content for the holy month ranges from original drama series Zaman Al Ajaj to mouthwatering culinary original shows with Sarah El Gindy, Bader AlShayji and Nermeen Wahby, as well as a host of animated and educational content for children. All the below shows follow MECCA timing, with each show airing daily on their respective channels.

Premiering at 21:00 on the first night of Ramadan on beIN DRAMA 1, the new month-long original drama Zaman Al Ajaj, produced by the acclaimed Abdullah Boushahri, follows the story of Wijdan (played by talented actress Mona Hussein), a woman seeking refuge from her abusive father in a seemingly idyllic village. Wijdan infiltrates the village until she gets to the village leader, Geith (played by the acclaimed Jassim Al Nabhan), and his brother Hamza (portrayed by Hussain Almahdi). As the series unfolds, viewers will witness Geith's attempts to navigate through the conspiracy to ensure justice is restored, all while managing the complex web of relationships and alliances within the village. The series consists of 30 episodes each lasting 45 minutes and is available in Arabic with English, French, Arabic and Turkish subtitles available.

Other series set to air this month on beIN DRAMA 1, include Egyptian drama series Lunchbox, which airs at 20:00, and tracks the journey of three housewives as they fall into a life of crime, followed by Syria-based dramas Al Arbaji in its second season, in which a charioteer who transports goods on a cart to support his family faces injustice and hate from his brother’s wife, airing at 19:00, and Nokta Entaha, which revolves around a couple working as pharmacists in Beirut who find themselves involved with the mafia, airing at 22:00. Khaleeji TV series Qalam Resas will also air each night at 23:00, detailing the fictional lives of a couple facing crises who find ways to improve their relationship.
