Every new class at Education City walks into Marhaba – Qatar Foundation’s annual orientation event for new students – carrying the same quiet mix of excitement and nerves. Behind them are years of preparation. Ahead of them is a version of university life they can't fully picture yet.
Two students who know that feeling well – one just beginning his medical career, and the other about to graduate – share what helped them navigate the transition.
For Jeongho Park, it meant learning to ask for help. Park, 21, originally from South Korea, has lived in Qatar since he was five.
