Chingari, Radisson Blu Doha’s multi-awarded Indian restaurant renowned for its delectable tandoor dishes, is proud to announce its 2nd Shikar and Biryani Food Festival, scheduled to take place from 25th April to 10th May 2024. This anticipated culinary offering promises to provide guests a culinary journey back to the 19th and 20th century of the British Empire.

The opening is held on Thursday, 25th April 2024, commenced with a ribbon cutting by the General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha, Mr. Emre Kocamustafaogullari, along with the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indian Embassy, Honourable Shri Sandeep Kumar.

Drawing inspiration from the royal kitchens of India, where Indian princely states along with the British Army Commanders used to hunt in the wild and brought their prized game, called as “Shikar”, to be skillfully prepared by their Master Chefs, Chingari has curated a special menu that pays tribute to this rich culinary tradition.

The Shikar and Biryani Food Festival aims to provide guests with an authentic taste of history honoring India’s diverse culture. Featuring dishes of the majestic hunts during the early years, Chingari meticulously sourced farm-bred ingredients specifically for this special occasion ensuring that it upholds the highest standards of sustainability and animal welfare.

Guests can expect a variety of exquisite, flavorful Indian cuisines.
